How to defend a cause through a music festival ?
Conception of a music festival that gives a voice to women.
The purpose of OYÀ is to fight for gender equality, and especially against violence to women in Africa, and show their power through creativity and expression. The festival takes place in Libreville (Gabon), which shows a high level of intimate partner violence (49%). The objectives are to raise awareness about gender inequalities and violence against women, and help the victims in sustainable way.
Unlike most of the sensibilisation campaigns usually very sober, dramatic, and guiltinducing, we wanted to involve people in a different way, with an impacting, colorful, straight and attractive tone.
